Becoming Secure is a 7-week group experience designed for women ready to explore how attachment patterns, emotional triggers, and relationship habits shape the way they show up in the world.

This is not just about learning—it’s about practicing. Through guided reflection, weekly group coaching, partner exercises, and real-life application, you’ll begin to shift from reaction to intention, from protection to connection.

HOW WE'LL WORK TOGETHER​

Our sessions are designed to provide a balance of learning, reflection, and connection:

 

Assessment and Reflection

At the start of the program, you’ll complete an attachment assessment to better understand your personal patterns.

 

Weekly Preparation

Each week, you'll be assigned chapters to read from Secure Love by Julie Mennano, reflect, and submit questions or real-life challenges for discussion and coaching.

 

Collaborative Learning

You'll be partnered with another participant for deeper learning and accountability to discuss the reading outside our sessions.

Experiential Sessions

Each 90-minute session includes a structured lesson, interactive discussion, and coaching to support real growth.
We’ll work both top-down (cognitive understanding) and bottom-up (somatic practice) so you learn how to drop into your body, attune to your body’s experience, and actually integrate what you’re learning. This is how we rewire the nervous system — not just by knowing about change, but by practicing it in real time.​

 

Private Coaching

You’ll get a personalized 1:1 session with Christina to go deeper, ask questions, and anchor the work into your real life.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Each week blends personal reflection, a core lesson, and a guided activity alongside supplemental reading from Secure Love. You’ll begin to recognize your patterns, practice tools for secure relating, and deepen your connection with yourself and others.

Week 1 – Foundations of Secure Relating

Learn how secure and insecure attachment bonds influence your brain, behavior, and relationships. We’ll explore how the brain and body respond to stress and how your attachment system seeks safety—through protection or connection.

Week 4 – Creating an Attachment-Friendly Environment

Begin to create emotional safety through nervous system regulation, boundary setting, and secure communication. You’ll begin drafting a personal narrative around a real conflict.

Week 2 – How You Relate: Building Awarness of Your Patterns + Compassion

This week deepens self-awareness. You’ll see how your attachment patterns show up under stress and begin to name your core attachment needs. With this clarity, awareness paired with compassion becomes the foundation for lasting resilience.

Week 5 – Know Yourself to Show Yourself & Empathy in Practice

You’ll share your personal conflict narrative with the group and experience the power of being witnessed and validated in your story. 
We will practice skills of listening and providing compassion to others.

Week 3 – Conflict as a Mirror: Understanding Triggers

Together we’ll unpack the Anatomy of a Trigger to distinguish between surface reactions and the vulnerable expereince underneath. You’ll gain tools to notice your patterns, regulate your responses, and shift from protection into connection.

Week 6 – The Predictive Brain & Narrative Coherence

We’ll explore how the predictive brain influences your reactions and why coherent storytelling builds secure attachment. Then you’ll begin rewriting a key story through the Empowerment Dynamic.

Week 7 – Integration & Secure Self-Leadership

You’ll be invited to share your rewritten narrative and reflect on the shifts you’ve experienced. Together, we’ll hold space for courageous expression and celebrate your growth. We’ll close by exploring how to carry this work forward—with clarity, compassion, empowerment, and self-trust.

Investment: $1050 (after 12/19 $1200) + purchase of the book Secure Love


This is an intimate group with limited spots to ensure personalized support and connection.
*Additional 1:1 Coaching can be added to your program for $375
